CONTEXT: Located in one of the nerve points of the city of Córdoba, Argentina and next to a great flow of circulations the new bus terminal has left without use its ex car parking.
The project of Nube is born of this analysis seeking to take advantage and to RECYCLE this public space, to generate a meeting between the citizens and the travelers.

ARCHITECTURE
The progress of this project can be quantified in two phases, where the same digital technologies are researched and developed, meanwhile the raw material changes, due to manipulation approaches and impact on health issues:
Phase 1: PVC recycling approach
Phase 2: Leather used for emphasis on demonstrating how these new digital tools are shifting the contemporary practices of fashion design.
The shift in raw material is clearly and correctly justified, as manipulation of PVC causes health and sustainability issues, in small workshops and it would need a very complex infrastructure to be implemented for the development of one project.
The Project introduces innovation using new technologies, in a traditional sector such as the Leather one. The combination of artisan work with the digital technologies employed in this project: 3D modeling, CNC milling, moulding and vacuum forming offer a wide range of possibilites for new designs.
The main focus of the new collection design was on organic shapes, bubbles, and several garments and accessories were developed: 2 belts, 1 bag, 1 coat, 2 shoulder pieces and 1 sleeve.

This series is inspired by the mathematics found in nature, exploring the freedom of its compositions and trying to capture the movements generated in it. Through the molding of leather, biodegradable material, combines traditional techniques, increasingly neglected with contemporary technology and digital fabrication to give birth to this collection of leather bags.

ARQUITECTOS DE CABECERA
Arquitectes de Capçalera (AC) is an initiative that was born in the year 2013 in response to the new needs and the change of paradigm that lives the current society, trying to link the work of the schools of public architecture to the real demands of the city and People, in a collaborative work.

At present, to intervene in certain architectonic spaces implies to know the social realities and not only the physical ones of the constructive tissues, often constructions that exceed the fifty years of Antiquity.
It is fundamental a new technician, the "head architect", close to the user, the community of neighbors, linked to the person, able to signify the real problems of the people and work the building systematically, with its social complexity, constructive and Historical.
In the WAC17 we implement the methodology of the head architects. It is an open formula, projected on the reality of each case: the situation of the user, the location, the accomplices of the project, the different working groups, etc. It has clear its starting point-the dwelling from the user's inhabitant-but it is not sure what the next steps will be.
The methodology AC adapts to each neighborhood and in each course depending on the situation that we find.
EL BARRI DELS SAFARETJOS
In the present call of the Workshop architects of the headwaters WAC17 proposes to work in the framework of the river Besos, a metropolitan infrastructure that currently articulates the debate and the need to formulate proposals that come both from the administrations As well as citizenship and academia.
We focus on the neighborhood of Els Safaretjos of Santa Coloma de Gramenet. We believe that it has the right conditions that allow us to pose actions at many scales. It is a territory that occupies a central part of the territory Besos, and at the same time it is eccentric of its city Santa Coloma de Gramenet. The area is, at this time, in a certain urban indefinition. It has been planned as a AREE and at this time the project is detained pending political decisions, both locally and supralocal.
The AREE Els Safaretjos envisaged the construction of 310 houses (248 subsidized homes) with 32,500 m2, a green area of 8,500 m2 and equipment with 6,663 m2 of surface.
The chosen sector is delimited by the hospital area of Santa Coloma (Espiritu Santo), the river, while it is an urban continuum with Sant Adrià and Badalona. It is connected to Barcelona and the neighborhood of Bon Pastor through a pedestrian walkway. There is a vehicular bridge at the same height that connects the industrial area of Bon Pastor with Badalona.
The district of Els Safaretjos is part of the district V that extends in 65 Ha, in which 24,042 people live. According to data from 2013 it is the most populous district in the city, with a density of 370 hab/Ha.
In the neighborhood, which has 8 ha, live approximately 1,250 people with a density of 153 hab/Ha, distributed in 501 households or units of coexistence.
The population of the Safaretjos is 187 people between 0-15 years: 109 men and 78 women. Of 834 people between 16-64 years: 447 men and 387 women. And 200 people over 65 years old: 78 men and 122 women.
The situation of Els Safaretjos is strategic on a metropolitan scale and, more specifically, in the territory of Besos. By its capacity of centrality and metropolitan kneecap it becomes a central piece of the Plan kisses.
At the moment there is a special interest to work in the area raised both by the Santa Coloma de Gramenet City Council, the Besòs Consortium, the metropolitan area of Barcelona, the neighborhood association and the thematic workshops of the ETSAB. Everyone expects the work done in the WAC17.
